It is with renewed emotion and gratitude that I evoke the memory of Monsieur Letendre. For I had the chance of having him
as a music teacher for harmony, counterepoint, and fugue. Besides the joy of sharing his company for several years, I also
took classes on life itself and more specifically on humanity. The best part of him did not die and will never die. It serves
me every time I take my pen to compose. And, behind pieces like « Valse pour l'Echappée Belle », there is all this past which
works in the shadows …
